Anti-Semitic Flyers Found in Lutherville (Again)

Police have said the flyers do not pose a threat.

A Lutherville resident earlier this week said her son discovered anti-Semitic literature by her mailbox on Norman Avenue.

A second woman—also of Lutherville—reported finding the same flyers on Seminary Avenue.

The flyers are also said to contain "end of the world" messages, according to neighbors who have seen them.

The issue surrounding these flyers was first reported by Patch in January 2012.

Baltimore County residents from Lutherville-Timonium, Reisterstown and Parkville all told police that they had found flyers on the streets or sidewalks near their homes.

Police Capt. Matthew McElwee, commander of Baltimore County Police Franklin Precinct 3 in Reisterstown has said that this specific literature has been distributed in Baltimore County before.

Anyone who finds the offensive literature can report it to police using the Baltimore County iWatch program.

"Police have said the flyers do not pose a threat." But, if these flyers were anti-black, anti-Latino, or anti-Muslim, there would be all heck breaking loose. Half of Baltimore County's police force would be mobilized to investigate this as a "Hate Crime". There would be protest marches down Seminary avenue with Jesse and Al leading the way. Kamenetz would be offering to build a new community center right on York Rd. and change the name of Bellona Ave. to honor the offended group. And, of course, our great President would need to get involved, apologizing to the offended group on behalf of us evil Americans.

While you appear to enjoy bashing certain ethnic groups, I notice you appear to be Irish, as am I. Can you possible use a different name so the good readers don't think all of us Irishmen are hate-mongers? Thank you.

Bart & Ed, I fail to see how pointing out that, if these flyers were attacking one of the latest "victims of the day", they would be taken much more seriously, makes me a hate monger. If I said I agreed that these flyers were no big deal, would that make me anti-Semitic?

Certain truths when spoken, seem to somehow make it in the hate files, in the minds of others...seems you can't say anything these days where someone, somewhere doesn't turn it into racial prejudice-when it is just plain ole fact....

Bart, We agree on this one! M. Sullivan is a bile-spewing hater, posting egregious bigotry rants all over these forums, directed mostly at African Americans. Balt Observer, on the other hand, seems to be an equal opportunity hater. :-(

What do you care, Kiefibber? You should be more concerned with your upcoming trial and servitude to the Department of Corrections.

Hey Tom, just because I have pointed out a few things about you we need to hear all this name-calling? Suddenly, you are a pillar of the community? LOL!
