Robbie Davis, Jr. and Robbie Davis, Sr. are diehard baseball fans, making it difficult for them season after season to root for the Baltimore Orioles.
Still, their sports memorabilia shop—Robbie's 1st Base in Lutherville—is adorned with jerseys from Orioles greats like Eddie Murray, Brooks Robinson and Cal Ripken Jr. Even modern era players like Brian Roberts and Nick Markakis get a place on the shelf.
Now that the shop has been thrust into the spotlight by way of the ABC pawn-style reality show Ball Boys, thousands if not millions of fans have tuned into to see the Davis men talk sports and honor sports history.
That is why, Patch checked in with "Junior" and "Senior" (their show monikers) to see who they think is to blame for the Orioles 14-year slump. The answers may surprise you. (See video)
Ball Boys airs on Saturdays at 3 and 3:30 p.m. on ABC. The Orioles take on the Twins in the season opener Friday at 3:05 p.m.
Are you going to opening day? Are you still a diehard O's fan despite a string of losing seasons? Do you agree with "Junior" or "Senior"? Start the conversation in the comments section below.
