Christmas Crime: Burglar Steals Chocolates, Leaves 'Present'

A well-known Timonium tree lot was robbed and defiled.

Some unknown thief is making a case for himself as Timonium's Grinch.

Only in the fictional world of Whoville, created by Dr. Seuss, the Grinch did not leave anything behind.

(One that the Who-sellers in the morning would find, find, find—My attempt at Dr. Seuss rhyme. It'll make sense in a moment. Read on.)

Police do not know who wandered into the then-unsecured tent at East Padonia Road and Park Avenue, in Timonium, where the popular Snoasis snowball stand is currently being used as a hub for selling Christmas trees.

They do know however, that this rogue broke in sometime between 6:15 p.m. and 8:30 a.m., between Saturday and Sunday, according to an incident summary. They also know that he or she rummaged through the tent, eating and stealing chocolates—two boxes to be exact.

The culprit then turned attention to the Snoasis shed, and tried to break it open with a broom handle.

The Grinch, er, burglar found the key to the shed, but did not steal anything—that is, before he or she defecated in the corner of the tent.

It's safe to say this individual's heart too is two sizes too small.

Probably one of the local bums who used to hang out on the median strip at York and Padonia.

To the DNA opportunity comment ~ That says something about the intelligence level of the "intruder"....Left behind evidence...Seems they had time on their hands, and hopefully more than that !
