Crime Log: Man Arrested for Destruction of Property, Trespassing
The following information was supplied by the Baltimore County Police Department. In cases where a criminal charge is noted, the information provided does not indicate a conviction.
Mistywood Circle, unit block, between 3:15 and 3:20 a.m., June 13. A man was arrested after throwing a charcoal grill through his sister’s large apartment window. Donte James Becoate tried to climb into the apartment through the second story window, after being told by his sister that he was not welcomed.
Becoate, 23, stormed away after his sister threatened to call police. He then shattered the glass window and was arrested down the street.
Becoate, of no fixed address, was charged with third and fourth degree burglary, trespassing and malicious destruction of property.
York Road, 2200 block, 10:55 a.m., June 11. Baltimore County police discovered a stick of dynamite had been left at the Maryland State Fairgrounds. It was determined a short while later to be a hoax.
