Dulaney Ranked as High Perfomer by U.S. News

Dulaney High School has been ranked the 13th best high school in Maryland, according to the recently released U.S. News and World Report list of best public schools.

Only two Baltimore County public schools placed higher than Dulaney: Eastern Technical High School (9th place) and George Washington Carver Center for Arts and Technology (11th place).

is currently ranked 264th nationally, according to the list.

The rankings were calculated by four categories: student-to-teacher ratio, college readiness and algebra and English test scores.

  • Dulaney shows a 17:1 student to teacher ration. (1,878 students, 113 teachers)
  • Dulaney is 55.1 percent higher than the state average on college readiness. (64 percent of the student body takes AP tests with 52 percent passing)
  • Students are 3.4 percent above the statewide average in algebra and English testing. (96 percent proficient, 4 percent not proficient)
