Former Padonia Park Club Owner Scheduled for Plea Hearing
Ira Charles F. Rigger was charged with multiple counts of possessing and distributing child pornography.
Ira Charles F. Rigger, the former owner of Padonia Park Club in Cockeysville, is scheduled for a plea hearing Wednesday regarding multiple counts of possessing and distributing child pornography.
The hearing is expected to take place at 9:15 a.m., at the Circuit Court for Baltimore County in Towson.
FBI and Baltimore County police investigations uncovered files containing child pornography on IP addresses belonging to Rigger's personal computer, and a computer at the Padonia Park Club, according to court documents.
After initially denying he had viewed or downloaded child pornography, Rigger later admitted in a police interview that he had been doing so for five years, police said.
In an email statement sent to its members, the business, which runs a swim club and a year-round child care facility, said Rigger is no longer an employee of the Padonia Park Club, nor is he permitted on the property.
Rigger, 52, of the unit block of Thurkill Court in Cockeysville, was also the president and CEO of Padonia Park.
The family-owned club is now being lead by Kathy Angstadt, vice president, and Cheryl Bamberger, controller.

I hope he goes away for life! He is a sick pervert who will only progress to worse crimes if he is allowed to remain in society. People do not "get better" from this.
