"A marker on this map shows the intersection of York Road and Fairmount Avenue where the deadly crash occurred." - Erik Pachino, 26, of the unit block of Tudor Court, was killed when his 2006 Jeep Wrangler failed to negotiate the turn from westbound Fairmount Avenue onto northbound York Road around 2:04 a.m. Nov. 16. We're sad to say that this is not the only traffic fatality that made the most-read list of 2012.

The shop Robbie's 1st Base was named after Robbie Jr. and the Eddie Murray's first base playing position." - Local businessmen Robbie Davis Jr. and his dad "Senior" literally scored a reality TV show deal that was announced at the beginning of 2012. We have since checked in periodically to pick their brains about local sports. Since airing, "Ball Boys" has seen its ups and downs. We're hoping the next story we write about them is that the show gets picked up for a second season.

"Christopher Lee Sheckells, 36, was arrested for his alleged involvement in a bar fight at Hightopps Backstage Grille." - And he wasn't the only one.

"Twitter users mourn the death of their friend Haudee Baygie." - Local man Haudee Baygie was found dead by his mother who thought he was sleeping in late.

"A burglar stole from a tree lot located just off of East Padonia Road." - Posted just two weeks ago, this story shot up the most-read ranks. We think it had something to do with our weekly "Weird News" column, which is published statewide.
