LOG: Timonium Woman Threatened at Gunpoint in Essex

The following information was supplied by the Baltimore County Police Department. In cases where a criminal charge is noted, the information provided does not indicate a conviction.

 

By now Patch readers would've certainly heard about the man shot while waiting for a train at the Lutherville light rail stop

The incident remains the most notable crime reported last week. 

In other news, a Timonium woman was threatened at gunpoint while pumping gas in Essex. The suspects were trying to intimidate her so she would not testify in court, police said.

Violent crimes aside, there were two attempted burglaries—one of which was thwarted by an alarm.

Crime Log

West Ridgely Road, 100 block, 4:10 p.m., Jan. 25. A man was shot in the face while standing on the Lutherville light rail platform. More details here. Police are asking anyone with information to aid their investigation. Find out how you can help here

Thornhill Road, unit block, between 5:30 p.m., Jan. 22 and 4 a.m., Jan. 23. A burglar smashed a Timonium home’s rear window. Once inside, the burglar triggered the home’s alarm and fled without stealing anything.

Charmuth Road, 1100 block, between 1:30 and 7:10 p.m., Jan. 22. A burglar pried the rear door of a Lutherville home in an attempted break-in. The individual did not get inside.

Back River Neck Road (Essex), 100 block, between 6:25 p.m., Jan. 21 and 6:30 p.m., Jan. 22. Two men brandishing handguns threatened a Timonium woman at an Essex gas station. The woman who plans to going to testify against her boyfriend in court, according to the police report. The woman was pumping gas when a black car pulled up directly behind her. Two men pointed handguns at her and said, “If you testify, you are dead. If you call the police about this incident, you are dead.” No further information is known at this time.
