A new, specialized sports training program is opening this summer to keep budding athletes sharp in the off season.
The Athletic Learning Center, based in Lutherville, will house the T.R.U.E. Sports Performance training sessions. T.R.U.E. stands for technique, repetition, understanding and execution and was designed by former University of Virginia lacrosse player Ian Shure.
“Throughout my recreational, high school and college sports careers, I have been involved with varying philosophies designed to derive the maximum effort and athletic performances on the playing field,” Shure, founder of the Athletic Learning Center, said in a release.
“Our strategy and program compiles and merges some of the proven techniques we have been exposed to, and combines them with leading-edge and innovative thinking that will dramatically alter training habits and protocols. T.R.U.E. is guaranteed to positively transform an athlete’s results,” he continued.
The program is available for kids of all ages, up through college, including adults. The Athletic Learning Center is located at 7 West Aylesbury Road.
