Lutherville-Timonium Crime: Man Assaulted, Robbed Over Baseball Cards

Deer Fox Lane, 200 block, between 6 a.m. and 6 p.m. on Feb. 3. Burglars broke into a man's house by prying open the front door. The victim told police he doesn't believe anything was taken.
*Baratra Court, unit block, at 4:20 p.m. on Feb. 2. About $250 was stolen from a local man in a baseball card transaction gone wrong, last week, incident reports show. The Lutherville resident, 63, was attempting to buy the cards from a man in his 20s. The suspect requested to see the money first. When the older man pulled out the cash, the robber struck him in the face, took the money and ran.
Previously reported:
Tally Ho Road, 8300 block, between 10:30 and 10:45 a.m. on Feb. 2. Jewelry was stolen from a Lutherville home, after a burglar broke inside by smashing through the rear sliding door.
A neighbor witness described the burglar as a mostly bald, light skinned black man or white man with a chinstrap beard, wearing a white pullover and jeans, according to the incident report.
Kellogg Road, 800 block, between 12:50 and 4:45 p.m. on Feb. 2. It is unknown what was taken from a Lutherville home, which was broken into and ransacked Thursday. The burglar broke in by smashing the glass to the rear basement door.
