Lutherville-Timonium Crime: Man Robbed With Automatic Handgun
The following information was supplied by the Baltimore County Police Department. In cases where a criminal charge is noted, the information provided does not indicate a conviction.
Greenside Drive, 9800 block, between 5:30 and 5:31 p.m. on March 23. A Sparks man was robbed at gunpoint with what appeared to be an automatic handgun, according to the incident report. The armed suspect asked the victim for a cigarette before displaying the weapon. A watch, cell phone and money were stolen.
York Road, 1600 block, between 8 p.m. on March 21 and 8:45 a.m. on March 22. A laptop computer was stolen from Watson’s Fireplace and Patio. The burglar smashed the side door with a concrete stone to get inside.
Hathaway Road, unit block, between 9:30 and 10 a.m. on March 20. A 32-year-old man has been charged with stealing pharmaceuticals from a family member. The man forced open the relative's rear basement door to get inside where he allegedly stole the drugs, according to police reports.
Police arrested Michael David Zeller on March 22 and charged him with first-degree burglary, theft, possession of marijuana and possession of paraphernalia.
A preliminary hearing has been scheduled for April 20 at 8:30 a.m. in District Court.
York Road, 2100 block, between 5 p.m. on March 18 and 7:30 a.m. on March 19. An Orick brand vacuum cleaner and an unknown amount of cash were stolen from a BP Gas station. The burglar “possibly” gained access to the station by entering through the west side garage door that wasn’t closed all the way, according to the police report. The burglar then cut through a cinder block wall with an unknown tool to get inside the main office. No further information is known at this time.
