Masked Robber Gets Money Bag, Police Make Arrest
The following information was supplied by the Baltimore County Police Department's Cockeysville Precinct. In cases where a criminal charge is noted, it does not indicate a conviction.
A Middle River man was charged with robbing the Hair Envy Co. salon in Lutherville-Timonium at gunpoint.
Charles Wheeler Jr. of the 3900 block of Hunt Harbor Rd., Middle River is charged with armed robbery, robbery, first-degree assault, theft of less than $1,000 and possession/not marijuana, according to Baltimore County police.
At 9 a.m. Friday, a man wearing a mask held up an employee at the salon on 1818 Pot Spring Rd. in Lutherville-Timonium, implied to a clerk that he had a gun, and demanded money.
He stole a bank bag of cash the clerk handed him.
A witness gave a description of a vehicle the robber may have used to leave, and police arrested Wheeler. He is being held at the Baltimore County Detention Center without bond.

The robber "implied" that he had a gun? Why didn't he just "imply" that he had a cruise missile? I think that he would have to show me an actual gun before I handed over the money. LOL!

Hm. Interesting point. Clerk must have been amply afraid, though.

Excellent work BCoPD. Good observations miss hair salon lady. The dope induced sunken eyes peering through the mask must have been the observation that stuck in her mind the most.
