North County Crime: 2 Gun-Related Crimes Reported

The following information was supplied by the Baltimore County Police Department. In cases where a criminal charge is noted, the information provided does not indicate a conviction.

 

Beehive Place, unit block, 7:35 p.m., Nov. 30. A 15-year-old boy was robbed by a man carrying a handgun. The suspect approached the Cockeysville resident, displayed a black handgun and demanded the boy empty his pockets. The boy placed his iPhone 4 on the ground. The suspect took the iPhone and ran away.

East Piney Hill Road, 900 block, between 9:30 a.m. and 2 p.m., Nov. 27. A Remington 870 shotgun was stolen out of a Monkton home. The burglar broke in by smashing the front door glass. The burglar also stole costume jewelry and binoculars, although a bag containing these items was recovered not far from the home.
