North County Crime: 7 Burglaries, 1 Robbery Reported

Old Bosley and Pot Spring Roads, 2:50 p.m., Dec. 7. Two men in a white car pulled up next to a woman near the intersection of Old Bosley and Pot Spring roads. The passenger got out of the car and stole the woman’s pink and white purse, after spilling its contents on the street. The purse was valued at $5.
Old York Road, 20800 block, between 9 p.m., Dec. 6, and 8 a.m., Dec. 7. A burglar stole a black 2008 Honda TRX700 ATV that was for sale and chained to a tree in the victim’s front yard.
Upper Glencoe Road, 800 block, between 8:15 a.m. and 1:40 p.m., Dec. 6. A burglar stole jewelry boxes containing a gold band with five diamonds, a ruby necklace and assorted costume jewelry. The burglar smashed the rear kitchen window pane to get inside.
Duncan Hill Road, 15400 block between 9 a.m. and 5 p.m., Dec. 5. A burglar stole cash, an Xbox 360 and black and white Prada shoes after forcing open the rear basement door.
Seven Spring Court, unit block, between 11 p.m., Dec. 4 and 8 a.m., Dec. 5. A burglar stole two chainsaws and cash out of an unlocked detached garage.
Shepperd Road, 2200 block, between 11:04 a.m., Nov. 30 and 3 p.m., Dec. 5. A burglar stole a jewelry box containing assorted costume jewelry. It is unknown exactly how the burglar broke-in.
Dairy Road, 100 block, 11:45 a.m., Nov. 27 and 11:30 a.m., Dec. 3. A burglar (or burglars) stole an air conditioning unit.

As Director of the Police & Community Relations Council for Precinct 7 (Cockeysville) - I highly recommend that ALL residents throughout the county keep your eyes and ears open and DON'T hesitate to call 9-1-1 if you think something is suspicious. Officers need our help to catch criminals in the act - so make that call. Officers would rather check things out and find nothing than have a major crime occur without ever getting a call! Precinct 7 covers 229 square miles so our officers can't be everywhere!
I also invite residents of northern Baltimore County (Precinct 7 area) to join the Cockeysville PCRC. Our monthly meetings give citizens a chance to meet with our Precinct Commander and Outreach Officer directly to discuss issues. We meet the 4th Wednesday of every month (except Nov & Dec) at the Bank of America Bldg, 11333 McCormick Road.
You can help stop the crime in your area... Come out to the PCRC meetings and learn how. In the meantime, CALL 9-1-1 if you see suspicious activity!
