I'd buy the Alms House, behind Cockeysville library and turn it into an organic restaruant. Not only would I create some local jobs, but it is such an amazing piece of history and very few people even know it's there!

I'd live very well, be active, get a doctorate in Astronomy (partly because I want to do it, partly to set an example for my kids who I would work at not letting become wealthy do-nothings with an expectation of unlimited stipends). Work part time in something I am passionate about, and fund a couple of scientific endeavors (brain cancer research comes to mind). Ski and surf a lot.

I would divide the money among my children, I would be so proud to do that for them.I would also get some repairs done around my home.

I would build BMX and Velodrome Bicycle parks in Baltimore. These would be poised to invite underprivileged youth to a healthy outlet. Each track would have it's own fleet of quality bikes available to all. -ride on

I would give Trinity Lutheran Church in Joppa the money necessary to build the food building to distribute food to the needy and donate 90% of my winnings to help those in need. I would use the other 10% to help my six children and their families achieve financial independence.

i'd get the heck out of Baltimore.

I would pay to dig a giant pit and fill it with lions where we can throw all of the human trash in Baltimore!!! If I were to win, I would watch out if I were a junky, drug dealer, gang member, criminal, bum, second generation city councilman, mayor, multigenerational welfare receiptant, deadbeat, etc. Those will be some well fed lions.

I would buy the Hampden Water Tower and fill it with gold coins then swim in it like Scrooge McDuck.

As a patriotic American I'd send it to President Obama to help him continue the war in Afghanistan. You know, the war on tara, where Dorito-eating "soldiers" sitting in La-Z-Boy recliners somewhere in the good ol' US of A are remotely piloting drone aircraft to drop bombs on innocent women and children in the name of freedom, justice, and the American Way.

I would live in the great cities of the world a year at a time. Go to London, live there for a year. Go to Tokyo, live there for a year. Madrid, live there for a year. And on, and on.

I would split the money. Put half of it in investments for the future generations of the family and the other half I would split again and put in trust funds for the current family members. The remaining I would split between the family members to spend as they would like.

1. Tell NO ONE about my winning ticket.
2. Make copies of the original ticket and put the original into my safe deposit box at the bank.
3. Meet with my lawyer.
4. Meet with my tax guy.
5. Buy a new home in an area of the country that is gun friendly.
6. Buy my children homes in the same part of the country.
7. Cash in the ticket in the lowest profile the law will allow.
8. Continue to live where I live now for about 6 months.
9. Tell the neighbors I am moving to my new location for health reasons. This is so that they don't later even SUSPECT that I was the winner.
10. Tell my children that I'm moving and that they can move with me if they wish...but not tell them why I'm moving. The fewer people who know the less likely the real story will get out.
11. Move and tell my new neighbors that I am a professional poker player who makes a comfortable living. This will explain why I'm home all of the time.
12. Legally change my name and the names of my children and grandchildren.

This is such an obscene amount of money that beyond paying off debts and setting up trust funds for my grandchildren's education, I'd give most of it to charity. I don't want to be poor, but being rich is no picnic; generally wealthy people are not happier than average-income folks and they tend to have more soap operas in their lives due to how money affects their personal relationships. People who think they are doing their kids a favor by giving them millions in prize money: think again.

I would buy my own cable Chanel..where I would taunt every one who ever did me dirty ...then I would clean out all the puppy mills I could find.

Well, obviously we didn't win. But, if we had, my husband and I would have moved out of Maryland, and would have taken our daughter, son-in-law, and grandson with us.

I would pay off that $511,000 in legal fees/court costs - in pennies.

Wondering of moving to Delaware before claiming the prize would save in taxes... but I suppose it all depends on where you bought the ticket.

It looks like one of the winning tickets might have been bought by a guy in Maryland
