Readers' Choice: Best Kid's Haircut

Which local salon or barbershop is a cut above the rest?

 

Patch Readers' Choice 2012 gets a little extra competitive this week.

Patch is looking for the best place for your child to get his or her hair cut in the Lutherville-Timonium area.

After reviewing the site's Patch Places directory, I discovered that the 21093 has at least a dozen locally-owned salons and/or barbershops to cater to a kid's desired hairdo.

I included ALL of Timonium's stylist in the name of fairness and because let's face it, kids these days—influenced by the likes of Justin Bieber and other teen pop stars—actually care about their hair. So it's not a stretch to think that a parent might spring for a $45 style job for their kid.

Also, considering prom season is around the corner, I figured this is a good opportunity to highlight some of the more high-end salons around town.

Take a moment to write a review of one of the following hair salons and/or barbershops from around town.

Recommend one of the above to your friends on Facebook and tell us in the comments section (below) why you or you child goes to that particular establishment. Then vote in our poll.

Sam's Barber Shop. They're good and reasonable, Judging from their many clients, I think most in this area agree.

Got to be Sam's. Traditional setting, great cutters, reasonable prices. Full of kids on any given weekend day. You'll see lots of friends there.

I took folks' advice and tried Sam's today - sorry to say that we had a terrible experience. The stylist took way too much length off of my son's hair - she refused to stop cutting, even when I said, "stop cutting, please! That's way too much already!" I would definitely not recommend this place to anyone.
