Stories of Survival: Kim & Isaiah
A survivor tells the story of how her breast cancer affected her son.
Kim led a "treadmill life ... just trying to keep the balls in the air." It was a weekday morning, just like any other, when she picked up the phone.
A breast cancer surgeon was on the other line.
"I was in the kitchen. I don't think I fainted. But I know I fell down," Kim says in the video above.
In the video, she struggles, reminiscing of the "nightmare" that she lived through. But she had to be strong for her son Isaiah.
