Today we round up five discounts featuring some of our favorite Lutherville-Timonium businesses.

The Deal: Magooby's Joke House is offering steep discounts on packages of either two, four, or eight general admission tickets. This deal is hosted by Groupon. 

Why We Like It: Who couldn't use a laugh these days? Magooby's is the perfect setting for a night out with your friends or that special someone. Supporting local comedy is a bonus. (Just keep in mind that the fine print on this one indicates the deal is not valid for Saturday 8 p.m. shows and special events. Special events = Gilbert Gottfried, Jim Norton, Mickey Cucchiella, Kevin Pollak, etc.) 

The Deal: MOM's Organic Market is offering $10 for $20 worth of groceries. This deal is hosted by Groupon. 

Why We Like It: This deal does away with the excuse that eating healthy is a costly endeavor. Also, with beach season on the horizon, do you really think that weekly trip to McDonald's is a good idea? 

The Deal: Liberatore's Ristorante is offering $20 for $40 worth of food and drink. This deal is hosted by CBS Local Offers.

The Deal: Looking ahead, Fit Body Boot Camp in Timonium will be offering discounts ($50 or 50 percent off) for Wellness Week at the end of the month, reports Eileen Ambrose of the Baltimore Sun. We're posting it now, so you can make reservations. 

Why We Like It: The aforementioned beach season. 

The Deal: The Pacific Northwest Wine Club is offering a 51 percent discount on custom word cloud wine labels. This deal is brought to you by Patch Deals. 

Why We Like It: Well, for the obvious reason that it's a Patch Deal, but also because it's a neat little way to say something special over a bottle o' vino.
