Raise your glass and cheer! The Maryland Brewer's Oktoberfest returned to Timonium on Saturday as 15 Maryland breweries presented their finest stock of the season at the Maryland State Fairgrounds.

Lutherville-Timonium Patch compiled an elite team of beer enthusiasts to judge some of the 80 beers on tap at the festival.

About 12,000 people attended the celebration of all that is beer.

Editor's Note: Patch reported earlier today that an incident took place following Oktoberfest on the fairgrounds' property. Two men were assaulted, left with stab wounds. A suspect was arrested and placed in custody. Police suspect alcohol may have played a factor in the assault.
