The big draw this weekend is going to be Artscape 2012, one the country's largest, free, outdoor arts festivals.
Artscape 2012 is happening Friday to Sunday. Click here to download the official Artscape 2012 map.
From Magoobys.com: "Tony Woods is a one-of-a-kind comedic legend that is always in control of his audience. A seasoned veteran in the comedy business, Tony is recognized not only by fans but by his peers as one of the best and most engaging comedians in the business."
The shows at Magooby's seldom disappoint, but they do often sellout. Get your tickets here.
Why go? Because their ain't no party like a Polish party, 'cuz a Polish party don't stop.
Seriously though, a $5 donation gets you in the door and the chance to see seven live bands and to celebrate all things Poland.
Why you should really go? Because the City of Baltimore doubled the price on these fine people to host the festival at Patterson Park, so they moved it up here to the fairgrounds. Let's show them a little Lutherville-Timonium hospitality.
I saw it last night. Great movie! (Not as good as The Dark Knight, IMHO.) Click here to see showtimes close to the 21093 zip code.
Baltimore County will not be assigning police officers to local theaters, although they will be increasing patrols, in the wake of the tragedy in Aurora, CO.
Since most of the options above share some component of not eating healthy (street food, comedy club food, Polish food, popcorn and soda) I feel it is my duty to at least point out one nutritious option.
