I keep hearing that this event was "oversold". There were no advance ticket sales, as there should have been. It was first come, first served, tickets at the door.

Why would anyone vote for no more guns? While I am neither democrat or republican because I choose to vote for myself, not a laundry list of someone else's ideas, I certainly wouldn't vote to take away our right to protect ourselves. Properly educated and trained, with a safe and proper safety measures in place, ownership of a personal firearm is safe and effective. I wouldn't hesitate to use my training to eliminate an intruder or threat to my family. Unarmed, we are potential victims.

I am teaching my children that it doesn't matter what color a person is, what religion, gender or sexual orientation, they don't get to pull out a card and use it when it's convenient. If you don't know the reference to the Tawana case Steve, well you aren't current with news is all I can say. It was one of the biggest race cards every used. I find it sad that black leaders and black religious leaders SELDOM have anything to say when violence is committed by young black adults. BUT, let a supposed injustice be committed against a black person and let the protesting begin. Sorry, but it works both ways. Call these people out when they commit acts of violence and are disrupting a community with their irresponsible behavior.
