Don't miss Paws on Parade this Saturday! It's at Baltimore Humane Society on 1601 Nicodemus Road, Reisterstown from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Bring your kids, friends, family, and of course, your dog! You can walk a one mile or 1.6 mile trail around our 365 acre wildlife preserve to benefit our no-kill shelter. Or you can just come and enjoy the day's activities. Entry is FREE!
Dogs should come in their best costumes for our costume contest. Juding will take place at 1 p.m. They can also play Musical Sit ‘n Stay, run a 6-legged race with their owner, swim in a pool, hunt for treasure, and much more! The day will also include vendor and rescue booths, great food, raffle baskets, Ask the Vet, a bite prevention workshop, and contests and games with prizes for the winners!
See you at the Parade!
About the Baltimore Humane Society
The Baltimore Humane Society, founded in 1927 by Mrs. Elsie Seeger Barton, is an independent, non-profit, no-kill animal shelter, which offers low-cost veterinary care to the public, and a pet cemetery with grief support services. We receive no funding from the local or federal governments, or any national animal welfare organizations. The Baltimore Humane Society is a proud member of BAWA (Baltimore Animal Welfare Alliance) along with the MD SPCA, BARCS (Baltimore Animal Rescue & Care Shelter), and Baltimore City Animal Control.
