If you're not an early riser you might have missed my chat this morning with Maryland Morning News anchor Bill Vanko about some issues that the Baltimore County delegation will likely face in the 2011 General Assembly session.

Among those are hybrid elected-appointed school boards, liquor licenses and the ethics legislation for Baltimore County Revenue Authority.

Apparently one school board member took exception to my characterization of the board being a rubber stamp for the superintendent.

I won't out the member who called the station minutes after I got off the air (because I didn't personally speak with him). What I will say is that my on air comments were about how some school advocates testified last summer that they felt the board was a rubber stamp and wanted changes that would create more of a check and balance relationship.
