About this column:

A glimpse of life in and around Lutherville-Timonium neighborhoods.
Actor Kevin Kilner's credits include an impressive list of television and film appearances including recurring roles in One Tree Hill, Greek and Earth: Final Conflict—a career that dates back to 1989, with the role of "Steve" in The Cosby Show.  But before he became an actor, he was first and foremost, a Lion—a Dulaney High School Lion to be exact.  Kilner graduated from the Timonium high school in 1976. He went on to Johns Hopkins University where he played midfield for the school's lacrosse team, which won three national championships between 1978-80, according to his IMDB page.  On Tuesday…
No it's not urine. Nor, is it beer.  Although, the contents of the bag did come out of my body (and were subsequently put back in).  The yellow liquid in the bag is a pint of my plasma and platelets, siphoned and re-injected into my veins via an Apheresis apparatus at my thrice-annual blood donation. Allow me to introduce you to the neighborhood awareness program iWatch. The initiative launched in early 2011 and is designed primarily as a tool for reporting suspicious activity, according to the …
A faded photo affixed to a cross and adorned with faux flowers is staked in a patch of grass, bordering the light rail tracks that cut through Lutherville-Timonium.  The photo depicts a young blonde boy. His name is Jeremy.   What happened to young Jeremy? I don't know.  The cross and photo have been there for longer than a year. How long? I don't know.  Tucked away, behind the flowers, planted next to the cross is an American flag.  I've driven past the cross hundreds of times, each time, imagining some far flung story about a mother who might visit the site of an accident.  But now I want …
