St. Paul’s School for Girls volleyball maintained its perfect record so far this season after a road win against St. Vincent Pallotti High School. The Gators won in four sets (25-13, 25-23, 24-26, 25-18) and are now ranked No. 2 by The Sun. Senior Kabria Haskins, 2010 All-Conference selection, leads the Gators with 42 kills in 10 games, averaging 4.2 kills per game and a .606 hitting average. St. Paul's School for Girls volleyball team clinched its first two games of the season, including an important tally against rival Seton Keough. "They always have an athletic team," St. Paul's coach Kelli Wilkinson said. "It was a good win for us to open the season with. We played really, really well against them." St. Paul's School for Girls opened its 2011-12 soccer season with a loss and a win in scrimmages against Manchester Valley and Beth Tfiloh, Aug. 29 and Aug. 31, respectively. After losing to Manchester Valley, 6-0, in 2010, SPSG's defense improved. This year, the team lost 2-0 against the big and physical Carroll County team. Manchester Valley dominated the first half, but the Gators rallied with chances to score in the second half, though none finished.
