Apply Now for Maryland Green Registry Leadership Award
Application period ends April 30, 2013

Has your organization reduced its environmental impacts and saved money through energy and water conservation, waste minimization and other environmental best practices? Share your success gain recognition within your community and among peer institutions by applying for a Maryland Green Registry Leadership Award.

The Maryland Green Registry is a free membership program for organizations of all types and sizes across the state. It was launched by Governor Martin O'Malley in 2009 and encourages organizations to share their environmental best practices and results through online member profiles. Last year, members reported saving over $63 million dollars through these practices.

The annual Maryland Green Registry Leadership Awards are presented to organizations that have demonstrated a strong commitment to sustainable practices, measurable results, and continual improvement. Winners will be announced at the annual membership event on June 11, 2013 at The Westin Annapolis and will be promoted through press, social media, notification to elected officials and featured in a video. Applications are due April 30, 2013.

To apply for an award, your organization must first join the Maryland Green Registry, which is free and easy to do. Join today and announce your membership by Earth Day!
