Pets on Wheels Seeking Vendors/Sponsors for July Pet-a-Paw-Looza

Pets on Wheels (POW), a not-for-profit volunteer organization providing friendly visits from volunteers and their pets to children and adults, is seeking sponsors and vendors for their 8th Annual Pet-A-PAW-Looza.

The event is set for July 13 and 14 in the Exhibition Hall at the Maryland State Fairgrounds in Timonium.

People come from all over to bring their pets and enjoy pet workshops and demos, Puparazzi Photos, Doggie Kissing Booth, raffles and silent auction, shopping, Beer & Wine Garden and more, complete with air-conditioning.

Funds raised from this annual event help support the work of their services and is a great way for a company or organization to get involved in the community.

Both corporate sponsorship and vendor opportunities include booth rental and four free admission tickets for employees.

Pets on Wheels has offered its services to the Maryland area since 1982 by taking certified pets to nursing homes, schools, hospitals, libraries and more to help fight loneliness and improve morale.

Funds from last year's event enabled POW to expand coverage in Maryland to include the entire northern part of the state from Garrett County to Cecil County and as well as facilities in each county on the entire western shore of the bay.

The generosity of our supporters also allowed POW to send twenty volunteer therapy dog teams to Newtown, Connecticut in the wake of the Sandy Hook School shootings to provide some solace to the victims and residents of the town.

The Pet‐a‐PAW‐looza is Pets on Wheels largest annual fundraising event and all proceeds ensure a positive and proactive year for the non-profit. For more information on Pets on Wheels visit www.petsonwheels.org.
