Padonia Applebee's Helps in the Fight Against Childhood Cancer

The Padonia Applebee’s held its 3rd Annual Alex’s Lemonade Stand Fair this past Saturday, June 22. Families and community members raised nearly $100 for Alex’s Lemonade Stand Foundation for childhood cancer. Admission was $2.00 and included a glass of lemonade or bottle of water. Kids played games in the parking lot, and had an opportunity to interact with the local fire department and fire truck. A raffle is being held until Saturday, June 29, with all proceeds benefiting Alex’s Lemonade Stand Foundation. Items being raffled include: sterling silver earrings, a local pool membership, a 2-bedroom Florida timeshare and much more. Raffle tickets can be purchased at the Padonia Applebee’s (2450 Broad Ave) for $1 each or $8 for 5 tickets.
