Encore Chorale at the Myerberg Center:

18 weeks beginning January 16, 2014

Tuition for 18 weeks of instruction and concerts:
$185.00 for Myerberg members
$215.00 for non-members

New and seasoned singers improve their voices, meet new friends and enjoy a great new adventure in the Myerberg Center’s Encore Chorale, while singing popular music. They then will join otherEncore Chorales from Virginia, Maryland, and Washington for exciting public performances. There are no auditions and singers may sit to rehearse and perform. Singers will rehearse music of Copland, Stephen Foster and Gershwin, and perform in several large, free community concerts.  Conductor Jeanne Kelly is a past conductor of the United States Naval Academy Women’s Glee Club and Georgetown University Concert Choir.  

Encore Chorale currently has 13 Encore Chorales in the Baltimore, DC, and Northern Virginia areas, serving over 620 singers.  Past Encore Chorale concert venues have included the Kennedy Center. The Chorale was recently featured on Voice of America.
