Lutherville-Timonium Lags Behind Baltimore in 'Walkability'

The website ranked Baltimore as one of the most pedestrian friendly big cities in America.

For the first time since the website Walk Score, which rates communities based on residents ability to get around without a car, rated Baltimore City in it’s top 10, but Lutherville-Timonium still lags behind.

Walk Score grades the communities at 55 out of a possible 100 meaning that some errands in the community don't require a resident to have a car. Meanwhile Baltimore, with a walk score of 66, is rated the tenth most "walkable" large city in the nation.

But Lutherville-Timonium scored higher than it's suburban neighbor Towson, which Walk Score awarded a 48, which means most errands require a car.
