Lutherville lady Jane Banks received the high honor Sunday of having the day named after her.
Banks is the daughter of College Manor founder Dr. William Moore III. celebrated its 60th anniversary this weekend with a jubilee "befitting a queen" (taking a break from ).
Resident families dined, danced, listened to music and sipped on tea, as Banks was award three proclamations from dignitaries Rep. Dutch Ruppersberger, County Executive Kevin Kamenetz and Councilman Todd Huff.
Banks has worked at College Manor since the day it opened on July 1, 1952.
