Smith College hosts a used book sale at the Timonium Fairgrounds.

University of Maryland, Baltimore County's women's lacrosse team faces Mount St. Mary's.


Dundalk's St. Patrick's Day parade kicks off at 11 a.m. from the Logan Village Shopping Center on Dundalk Avenue and winds through Old Dundalk before ending at Dundalk Elementary School.

The Baltimore Blast face the Missouri Comets in the second game of the MISL championship—the first is Thursday at Missouri. Game time is 7:35 p.m. at 1st Mariner Arena. If the series is tied at the end of the game, it will be followed by a 15-minute mini-game to determine the winner. It's the Blast's third straight trip to the title game.

Comedian Lewis Black brings his standup tour to the Modell Performing Arts Center at the Lyric.

UMBC's men's lacrosse team hosts High Point. Loyola's women's team hosts James Madison at 1 p.m. Johns Hopkins' women host George Washington.

At Towson University, bring the kids and explore the science of superheroes at Saturday Science.

Gov. Martin O'Malley and his band O'Malley's March celebrate St. Patrick's Day a day early with a show at Creative Alliance in Baltimore. Also a day early, Dundalk hosts its St. Patrick's Day parade.


It's open mic night at Hightopps in Timonium.
