KASPAR by Peter Handke

Kaspar by Peter Handke will be performed at the Center for the Arts Mainstage Theatre. Tickets are $20 for general admission and $10 for seniors and students.

"Kaspar owns a single sentence to call his own. Drilled by the prompters, logical and illogical language sequences, he learns to speak 'normally,' gradually molded in society's image, and eventually becomes creative, for which he is destroyed. Handke, and heir of Brecht, with his radical approach of 'anti-play,' forces us to re-examine our sense of who we are and what we know."
