Maryland State Fair: The Band Perry Performs

Maryland State Fair organizers scheduled the two biggest headliners of their summer concert series on back-to-back night. 

Once Victoria Justice is finished from across the state, The Band Perry will step in to sooth the country spirit country music loving spirit in all of us Saturday night. 

"The Band Perry’s 'modern throwback' style, that combines classic country with an eclectic infusion of rock, gospel and soul sound, is reflected on their self-titled certified Platinum debut album THE BAND PERRY, as well as their second album due out later this year," according to a release.

The group was this year nominated for a Grammy for Best New Artist, as well as the American Country Music Awards Vocal Group of the Year. 

Tickets are $39 for general admission and can be purchased here. Doors open at 6 p.m., show starts at 7:30 p.m. Wristbands can be picked up at 8 a.m. at the . 

The band is most known for its radio hit, "If I Die Young" Timonium residents will immediately know when The Band Perry takes the stage with this song based on the thunderous approval from the sure to be massive crowd. 

"Currently, The Band Perry is performing their own headlining dates and touring as special guests on Brad Paisley's "VIRTUAL REALITY WORLD TOUR 2012." They are also writing and recording their sophomore album, due out later this year," the release goes on to say.
