The Band Perry To Return to Timonium After Shortened Show

The country music award winning outfit made the announcement on their website.

One of the musical acts at the 2013 Maryland State Fair has already been booked, just one day after the close of 2012's annual carnival and 4-H festival.

—the third and final act of the Maryland State Fair's summer concert series—saw their show cut short due to an impending storm.

The group's agent Rob Beckham announced on Twitter that a plan was in the works to appease fans who were let down by the abbreviated seven-song set.

The band made the following announcement on its official website:

"The Band Perry and the will be rescheduling the lightning shortened show Sept 1st, for a TBD date at the MD State Fair in 2013. All tickets purchased will be honored for the rescheduled date. More info to come in the next few days."

Concertgoers were left confused by the cancellation of the show as fairgrounds midway rides continued to operate. One Patch reader encouraged disheartened attendees to , although that was before The Band Perry announced a follow-up show.
