Timonium Businesses Offering Specials for Breast Cancer Awareness Month

Find out which local businesses will be donating to breast cancer research here. Feel free to add your Lutherville, Timonium, Hunt Valley or Cockeysville business to the list if it applies.

In honor of Breast Cancer Awareness Month, Patch is rounding up a list Timonium businesses that through Octorber will be donating a portion of their profits to breast cancer research.

Timonium's multi-Readers' Choice winning Irish restaurant/bar is giving back through the Susan G. Komen Race for the Cure. The bar will donate 10 percent of checks from race runners (or anyone wearing pink) who dine at The Still on Oct. 21. The Still also accepts donations throughout the month. 

Brooks-Huff Tire and Auto Center

Our councilman's day job will contibute $5 off of every regular price oil, lube and filter service to Komen Maryland. 

Pink Ribbon Gifts 

"A local breast cancer survivor has turned her story into a mission of creating cancer awareness jewelry that are works-of-art," according to a release. "Pink Ribbon Gifts’ products are handmade, unique jewelry incorporating cancer awareness ribbons. The business is designed to give back, with 10 percent of proceeds donated back to cancer patient and awareness programs."
