Katharine Taber, M.D., Director of Women's Wellness Center at Northwest Hospital Now Seeing Patients at New Timonium Office

Katharine H. Taber, M.D., the director of the Women’s Wellness Center at Northwest Hospital, has expanded her practice to Timonium, Maryland.

She now sees patients once a month on Wednesdays at the Timonium Medical Center at 16 Greenmeadow Drive in Suite G105. Her office hours are 8 a.m. – noon.
 
“I have a lot of patients who live in the Towson, Timonium, Hunt Valley areas, and this will make it more convenient for them,” said Dr. Taber. “A strong bond forms between women and their gynecologists over the years, and I want my patients to know that I understand how busy they are and that their time is valuable.”

Services offered at the Timonium office include:
•    Annual well woman exam
•    Contraception Counseling and Management
•    Adolescent gynecologic visits
•    Counseling and treatment for perimenopause and menopause
•    Counseling and treatment for osteoporosis
•    Management of pelvic pain, ovarian cysts, irregular bleeding and uterine fibroids
•    Education and care for sexually transmitted diseases
•    Management of abnormal pap smears

If further care or evaluations are needed, the Women’s Wellness Center at Northwest Hospital is about 15 minutes away. It offers a holistic approach to health that includes annual GYN exams and the development of individual comprehensive wellness plans based on each woman’s needs.

Dr. Taber also sees patients in Ellicott City, Howard County on Tuesday and Friday afternoons from 12:30 p.m. – 3:30 p.m.

Dr. Taber is board-certified in obstetrics and gynecology and is also part of the Division of Obstetrics and Gynecology at Sinai Hospital. She graduated from medical school at the University of Virginia and completed her residency at Duke University School of Medicine.
