Snow Storm Mostly Spares Baltimore, Harford Counties

Expect mostly sunny yet cold weather Sunday and Halloween Monday.

Baltimore and Harford counties were mostly spared from the rare October snow that blanketed much of Western Maryland, Pennsylvania and the Northeast, according to Accuweather.com.

About 2.3 million homes between Maryland and Maine lost electrical power, according to the Associated Press. Areas near the Maryland-Pennsylvania border saw as much as 10 inches of snow, according to Newsday.

Heavy, wet snow continues to pummel the Northeast today, as many states in the New England area declared a state of emergency.
