Dulaney Valley Memorial Gardens Honoring Servicemen

The cemetery is holding a Memorial Day Ceremony.

Dulaney Valley Memorial Gardens is once again hosting a Memorial Day Ceremony.

The annual event, which is open to the public, will start at 10 a.m. on Monday, according to a news release. During the ceremony, seven members of the miitary—Marylanders who have been killed this past year while serving in Afghanistan—will be honored.

The keynote speaker for the event is William Pencek, executive director for the Maryland War of 1812 Bicentennial.

The Catch A Lift Fund, an organization that provides gym memberships or home gym equipment to wounded veterans, will also be recognized at the ceremony, the release states.
