MARYLAND STATE FAIR

When/Where: Sept. 3 to 5, daily at the , 2200 York Road, Timonium, MD 21093.

It seems worth mentioning again that this is the last weekend to attend the state fair and blow off some steam. Ride the Ferris wheels, roller coasters, bumper cars and dozens of others designed to shake and twirl you even better than the earthquake we had last week. There are animals to visit with, music to listen to and plenty of snacks to match the aromas wafting from the party. It’s an exciting and thrilling way to close out the summer. Also, country music star Blake Shelton and pop punk outfit All Time Low will be in concert.

Price: Fair admission: $3-$8; Ride tickets are $1 each (rides require 1 – 6 tickets each).
