Earlier Tuesday, an automobile accident at McCormick Road and Schilling Circle contributed to damaging a transformer as well as part of the train tracks, according to MTA spokesman Terry Owens.

Kurt Kocher, a Baltimore city Department of Public Works spokesman, said a truck hit a fire hydrant, which caused flooding on the tracks.

Kocher added that BG&E workers are on scene repairing the damages.

It is currently uncertain when service along that section of the tracks will resume.
