Winter Weather Advisory Issued for Baltimore County

Snow, sleet and freezing rain are projected to fall overnight in the Lutherville-Timonium area, according to the National Weather Service.

Snow began falling around 8 p.m. and will last until around midnight. Sleet will likely persist until 3 a.m., then freezing rain will fall through morning. Forecasters expect a half-inch of snow and sleet or less.

Temperatures in the mid to upper 30s  are expected for Tuesday, with a 100 percent chance of precipitation. Little to no ice accumulation is anticipated.
