Report: Ruppersberger Still Considering Maryland Governor Run
Rep. C.A. Dutch Ruppersberger would be the only Baltimore area candidate.
Rep. C.A. Dutch Ruppersberger has not ruled out running for governor of Maryland and will not make up his mind until about Thanksgiving, according to The Washington Post.
Ruppersberger, the former Baltimore County executive, has long been rumored to be considering a run for governor.
He would be the lone Baltimore-area candidate in the race.

All three Democratic candidates, Lt. Gov. Anthony Brown, Attorney General Doug Gansler and Del. Heather Mizeur are from the Washington D.C. suburbs.
Harford County Executive David Craig, Del. Ron George, of Anne Arundel County, and Charles Lollar, of Charles County, are running for the Republican nomination.

Ruppersberger, a Democrat, serves the second district in the House of Representatives, which runs from Jessup in Anne Arundel County to Aberdeen in Harford County in the east, and also includes portions of Towson, Lutherville-Timonium and Owings Mills in Baltimore County.
He twice served as a Baltimore County Council member and as the executive from 1994 to 2002.
