Cruisin' for Our Heroes

Cool off and
run through cascades of water.  The
Baltimore County Sheriff's Office and the Fire Museum salute area firefighters,
EMS, police and military personnel with its annual Cruisin' for Our Heroes,
Saturday, Sept. 20th, from 10 to 2 pm. Join the excitement and watch the 1917
Baltimore City FD High Pressure Wagon blast over 500 gallons of water a minute
from its three cannons.  Visitors are
welcome to fire engine rides and to meet
the dogs from Chocolate Chip Dalmatian Rescue and the Baltimore Country Police
K-9 Unit.

Peruse a wide variety of police
vehicles, antique fire engines, cars and motorcycles on display. Fire companies will be showing off
their best emergency vehicles while fire engine collectors arrive to show off
their restored antique apparatus. Area car clubs will also be showing off their
antique cars, hot rods, and motorcycles during this unique show.

Visitors are always welcome to come inside to see
the 40 antique engines and trucks inside, plus walk through the rebuilt 1871
Fire House. Outside events are free, and the Fire Museum
will be open 10am – 4pm at regular admission.
