MIX 106.5 "STUFF A BUS" EVENT AT SHOPRITE IN TIMONIUM TO BENEFIT THE MARYLAND FOOD BANK

According to the 2011 Census, there are more than 530,000 Maryland residents living below the federal poverty level. Mix 106.5 and ShopRite want to bring awareness to these conditions and encourage community members to join in the fight against hunger. By participating in the Mix 106.5 Stuff A Bus food drive, shoppers can support the Maryland Food Bank’s mission to provide food to the area's hungry.

Join Mix 106.5 at ShopRite in Timonium for the 19th Annual Stuff A Bus event to benefit the Maryland Food Bank. The public is invited to stuff MTA buses full of non-perishable food items to ensure that hungry families have food this holiday season. Throughout the three-day event, shoppers can join Mix 106.5 for radio remotes, giveaways and more. Purchase hot dogs, soda and other items from the Black Bear Premium Meats and Cheeses table and all proceeds will go directly to the Maryland Food Bank.

Some of the Maryland Food Bank's most needed items include: peanut butter, oatmeal, pasta, nuts and seeds, canned fish or meat, canned fruits and juices, evaporated milk, infant formula, diapers, and toilet paper.
