What's a Quarter Auction? It's a very entertaining and fun way to win NEW items for yourself or to give as gifts! This event is the place where you get a uniquely numbered paddle of your choice, which matches a numbered poker chip in a rotating raffle type barrell. It really is a fancy name for raffle because if you choose to "bid" (enter a chance to win) when the item you want comes up, you simply place the number of quarters equal to the "bid" amount, per paddle that you want to hold up, in the bucket on the table. You then raise your paddle(s). If your number is called before any other bidding player for that item, you win it. It goes very quickly, so if your paddle number is called, you must YELL out loudly "Bingo!" or "It's Me" or the ever popular "Winner, Winner, Chicken Dinner!" Or similar way to claim your prize. If you are not heard and the next number is called out, you are not the winner. Be LOUD and PROUD!
