Get Ready! Get Set! Get Fit! 5K Run/Walk and 1 Mile Walk

The 2014 Get Ready! Get Set! Get Fit! 5K Run/Walk and 1 Mile Walk will once again be held on the campus of CCBC Essex.
This location is easily accessible to I-95 and I-695 and has plenty of
parking. The event starts at 8:00 a.m. and all roads on campus will be
closed at that time. The 5K race, which is professionally managed by
Charm City Run, attracts participants of all ages who run and walk the
course. Awards are given for the top three male and female 5K finishers
overall, as well as the top three male and female runners in all age
categories. The 1-Mile Fun Walk is perfect for our younger, and older,
participants. Door prizes, including a $500 Grand Prize, will be
awarded (must be present to win). All participants receive a
complimentary long-sleeved T-shirt, water on the course, and post-race
refreshments. Trophies will be awarded for largest team, most money
raised by an individual and most money raised by a team. Event and
