Life can be crazy sometimes – in our busy world of multi-tasking and over stimulation, we can easily lose our focus and the ability relax. With smartphones, demands from others, or the pressures of work, we can feel like our life goes by in a blur. As days melt into weeks, and weeks flow into months, we may struggle just to stay afloat, feeling stressed and exhausted. What would our life be like if we learned to be fully present and mindful in each moment?

Mindfulness is the heart of meditation. Regardless of whether we are new to meditation or more experienced, this talk will enable us to explore mindfulness and learn to integrate it into our daily life. Gen-la Kelsang Dekyong will inspire us to live a more mindful life, by showing how with Buddhist wisdom we can relax and find happiness in each moment. The talk will include a guided meditation.
Everyone is welcome to attend this special event!

Reception: 8:30 – 9:30pm with light refreshments

10:30 am – 12:15 pm: Awakening our Compassionate Heart
We may think that too much focus on compassion will make us unhappy. However when approached correctly, compassion is an uplifting and transformative state of mind. The more we open our hearts to others, the more our empathy will grow. In this way we can develop universal compassion, the most humane and beneficial mind. This talk will include a Q&A session.

12:15 pm – 1:30 pm: Lunch

1:30 pm – 3:15 pm: Inspiring Positive Change
By understanding the way we relate to our self and others is created entirely by our mind we are empowered to fully let go of negative thoughts and self-limiting tendencies. Learning and practicing Buddha’s Tantric teachings, we use special meditations to tap into our almost unlimited potential for positive change. Through the inspiring Tantric approach we can develop a clear vision of a self and world without problems and suffering, and can swiftly accomplish this ultimate potential for lasting peace and happiness. This talk will include a Q&A session.
