BLOG: Shame on The Band Perry and the Maryland State Fair

Fans were cheated by The Band Perry Saturday, as they stopped the show without any thank you's or goodbyes.

The Band Perry not only but I will make it a mission to let folks know just how badly they treat their fans!

To all those at their concert at the Maryland State Fair Saturday night please dispute charges on your credit card.

I just did.

The credit card company told me I'd have a better chance winning the dispute if they see others do it as well.

Question: If they threw us out because there was "dangerous" lightening "in the area," then why did all the rides full of children at the state fair keep right on running the rest of the evening?

Folks were happily up in the sky on the extremely tall rides! Shame on you Band Perry. Just walking off after 4 or 5 songs! No thanks, no explanation from the band themselves!

I saw Martina McBride and Sara Evans, outdoors, in stormy/rainy weather. They played their hearts out for 2 hours—devoted to their fans. They are 10 times the talent you will ever be!

We waited for hours.

The weather was not a threat when they walked off the stage, leaving us sitting there. The whole evening was an unorganized mess.  I can't remember ever attending a more poorly run event.

OK State Fair organizers, which was it? Were the concert ticket holders ripped off or were you putting the rest of your patrons that were on the rides at 9:30 at risk?

Can't have it both ways! Can't be a threat for us, but safe for the rest of the fair patrons!
