Artscape 2012

The big draw this weekend is going to be Artscape 2012, one the country's largest, free, outdoor arts festivals.

If you're into cold drinks, festival food, cool artistry, live music and hipsters, we highly recommend jumping on the light rail and heading downtown.

Tony Woods Live at Magooby's

Maryland's Polish Festival

Why go? Because their ain't no party like a Polish party, 'cuz a Polish party don't stop.

Seriously though, a $5 donation gets you in the door and the chance to see seven live bands and to celebrate all things Poland.

Why you should really go? Because the City of Baltimore doubled the price on these fine people to host the festival at Patterson Park, so they moved it up here to the . Let's show them a little Lutherville-Timonium hospitality.

The Dark Knight Rises

Baltimore County to local theaters, although they will be increasing patrols, in the wake of the tragedy in Aurora, CO.

Since most of the options above share some component of not eating healthy (street food, comedy club food, Polish food, popcorn and soda) I feel it is my duty to at least point out one nutritious option.
